The design of this table was inspired by a house in Asia with a very contemporary, vivid style of architecture.
Knowledge must be shared, passed on...
As a creative cabinet maker, Paul Hoffmann designs and produces, unique, custom-made items of contemporary furniture
Each piece created and manufactured in his studio is a challenge: a never-ending search for balance between functionality and aesthetics.
Trained at the Boulle school of design, and a member of the "Ateliers d'Art de France", the French government bestowed on his studio the title "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company). Paul skillfully develops his creations to surprise us and stir our emotions. He uses the latest techniques of composition and bending, while playing on the contrast between materials and wood varieties, to give his pieces an extra touch of soul.
His furniture (curiosity cabinets, desks, chairs, etc.) combine bold techniques, luxurious materials and an assured idea of elegance.
Established 25 years ago, Paul is a renowned figure in the world of contemporary cabinetmaking. In 2015 and 2017, he participated in the "Révélations" exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris. His participation in the first edition of the Hermès Foundation's Academy of Expertise along with the continuous training of interns in his studio demonstrate his commitment to passing on knowledge.
